How Much Scholarship Can I get From Mahadbt for SC Students
Quite a handful of students have been asking the same question over and over again about how many scholarships one can receive from MahaDBT for SC students. But I hope we all know that there are varying departments that have different scholarship grant amounts.
The MahaDBT SC scholarships are generally provided to any students whose parent’s Annual Income ranges from 2 Lakh to 4 Lakh. And the amount of scholarship given to candidates varies from one scholarship to the next depending on the course, category, and religion.
According to other sources, as of my training data cut off in 2021, the amount of scholarship that a Scheduled Caste (SC) student can receive from the Maharashtra Direct Benefit Transfer (Mahadbt) portal in India depends on various factors, including their level of education and family’s annual income. For example, higher education (post-secondary level) students may be eligible for a scholarship of up to INR 30,000 per annum, while students studying in classes 9th to 12th may be eligible for a scholarship of up to INR 2,000 per annum.
The exact amount of scholarship may vary based on the availability of funds and the number of applicants. To be eligible, students must be Indian nationals, permanent residents of Maharashtra, belong to the SC category, have a family income less than INR 2 lakhs, and be pursuing a full-time course in an accredited institution.
The MahaDBT SC scholarship is generally provided by the Indian government to its less privileged citizens who can’t afford to pay their tuition fees. There are currently 3 different types of SC scholarship in progress which are the Pre Matric Scholarship, the Pst Matric Scholarship, and the Merit-Based Scholarship Scheme.
